It is designed not just to record accidents and driver behaviour in commercial vehicles but also to help prevent accidents, this is done by giving the driver an instant view of oncoming traffic when driving in europe, providing a view of the blindspot present in the drivers side wing mirror and giving a wide angle view when reversing.

The system will also tag the recording to show you if the driver indicated left or right, or selected reverse.
